My front springs are the original 351C springs with 1 coil cut off.
Greg never tried the split leaf monos.
I believe like anything ...using the complete package helps.

we ran some calvert bars on the kids truck, worked "ok". Its got ladderbars and coil over under it now.
I know Greg had power to run 10 flat at over 4000#s also.

My 70 GT with a 521 pump gas motor has traction problems and I considered Caltracs but Greg was having problems. The best 60ft was 1.65

Moving the top arm backward a little for more positive caster didn't make it any faster, the increase in caster just made it more stable/track straighter at speed on the top end.Dave C. wrote:Dave, did your ranchero ru better when u moved everything back ?
