stepping up in tire size

well I've been wanting to put larger tires on my 1952 F1 for year's so the other day I got the guts to cut it up here r so pic.

have got alittle more done but don't have pic loaded yet... the truck does 60' ok on a very good track with 275x60x15 but hoping to do better with the new tires will see in a few weeks

cutting the aluminum floor is fun we used the same flooring to put in some of the pace trailers like the stackers looking good

hope to get in the shop today it was my b-day sunday and went to the track Saturday and Monday is baby sitting the grandkids would like to get the bed off the truck today and take a few pics

well the plan went crazy today try a test panel for the new paint. didn't mix the new paint enough and it came out black took it back to the paint store and they set me straight this paint settles in 5 minutes i mixed it with a paint stick but u need 2 mix for about 5 min or more

got the inside tubs prime today and the bed ready to come off so I can paint it easier hope to get a buddy to help with bed

well you can see that the paint is done... I need to color sand and buff and that is all done minus the tail gate.... got the bed back on and complete just need to install fender's but that will take some help have it setup for thur need 3 people to do the fender's... then the bed floor need to do some machining to get the panel to fit but should be done next sunday I hope..

all together and going to the track sunday at lapeer hope the new 30" tires work

Well made it to the track on Sunday first pass with the 275x60x15 DR 11.41@118 then tried the slicks 10.50x29.5 first pass 11.33 @ 118 second 11.31 @118 time to hit it with hose track said only 1/8 first pass on hose 125hp 7.03 @103 second pass changed delay 6.90 @ 103 third changed delay again 6.76 @ 103 on the conversion that's 10.54 very happy
