c6 trans brake delay
I am a ford tech & my buddy at work that does nothing but trans work rebuilt my c6 trans & after rebuild the car will move a couple of feet after trans brake button is applied and then hold. The trans shifts fine through all the gears.Did not have this problem until rebuild. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm not a trans guy but I would say you need to call JW and get feedback from them. Could be something wrong in the trans, in the brake, or how its wired.

You have to give it a little time to apply the t/brake, so count to two or so before letting off the foot brake.

Checked the valve the solenoid rides on and it moves free. The solenoid works everytime the button is applied with no delay.

I have the same issue with a pos jpt v/b. Could line pressure play a role in this?

Not to steal the OP's thread but would around 125 psi at idle and 150 ish on the 2 step sound low?

I think it should be closer to 190 - 200 on the 2 step

I put a tci trans break in my tci c6 and it moved forward when applied . Fixed it by adjusting band, it was too tight . Also car slowed down . drags back bumper now
