3055S vs. MT Pro Radials
Let's hear some pros and cons on each. Building a new car and seriously thinking about going to the radial. I will probably not be running any radial classes so this is a strictly which one is gonna be better situation. 1/4 mile racing only.

A slick will be more forgiving. Radials work great when chassis, power delivery, and wheel speed are correct.

Huh?
You'll need a steep learning curve on the radial. Just use the slick and keep it simple......

Just curious because been reading some saying the new pro radial hooks as good as a slick and better top end stability.
Nick I may be the "askhole" I have talked with him a few times about this subject.
I guess I will just stick with the slick no need to complicate things anymore.

Radials are only good a a radial prepared track....for the most part
this is based on what I've seen and read...no personal experience with any radial....all my friends use slicks

Heresbhow I see it. Your doing a new car. Its never been down the track. It should be faster than anything you've had. Its not a car thatvwill be predictable to you. Why complicate things. Just get it down the track consistantly before you start trying to be fancy.
