I have talked to people who have met him,they said he was real down to earth.

My long time buddy's daughter lives in California. He went out a few years ago, she took him past Foose's shop and they were looking in the window when Chip pulled up. Bill said he invited them in for a tour, gave them shirts and visited with them for about 45 minutes, super good guy . Bill went out to visit her last year and she took him to Jimmy Shine's shop. He sent me some pics of him and JS and some of his cars, said was a great guy like Foose.
Darn, some guys have all the luck .

Jimmy Shine is really nice, I met him at a grand opening of So-Cal Speed in Sacramento, I had lots of drop axle questions for him since his land speed stuff uses them, and I was having wander issues, he talked to me for a good hour about what to do, and about old Super Shops stories. His advise fixed my trucks issues, it goes straight as an arrow now. I also met Foose at SEMA in 2004, he's really down to earth as they say.
