Carb adapter or not
Need some info I'm buying a shelby dual
Plain alum intake it has a dominator flange doses it matter on performance if I get a 4150 adapter or should I get a carb with dominator flange and is one better than the other it's just that if I buy a carb with 4150 flange I have a bigger choice on intakes I don't even know what the difference is between the two and if the spacer is going to hurt my application its a pull tuck super stock class it's a street driver as well

Re: Carb adapter or not
If its any help I have ran a 2" spacer + nitrous plate on my dual plane Edelbrock rpm for years first with an 800cfm Edelbrock carb and more recently with a Predator. If any thing I have found it slightly improves performance. This may help.

I had a Dominator on a 4150 base intake, with a 2 inch adapter for several seasons on my pull rig, until the dominators were outlawed in my class, went to a 4150 base last year, only noticeable difference was a tad better throttle responce
