My bad Clyde. What about van oil pans aren't they rear sump as well? Seems to me your local parts store should be able to get one for ya.

On second thought, I think the van pans might be a mid sump deal?

Re: Truck pan pickup tube
I know spectra makes the pan and tube for 351w but cant find their # for the 460.
I think they are canadian based.
Vans are mid sump deal.

Re: Truck pan pickup tube
Ok guys the E350 and f350 call for same pick up tube but have completely different oil pans. The ds2 will fit the van pan but not the truck pan. That is why the ds2 will not work.

Re: Truck pan pickup tube
Are you looking for a pick for the single sump pan with the sump close to the rear. If so I am going to start freshening up my old 460 out of the ranger tomorrow after work I will look and see if the pick has a number on it.

I think the bottom one is what I have but can't remember for sure let me check tomorrow afternoon when I get home. I will post which one it is when I get the pan off for you . I know I had to make the one for my 552 as it has a home built pan I took 2 pick ups and made it and it take some time for sure to build one with the right clearness.

Re: Truck pan pickup tube
Not correct. Easy identificaion between the two OEM pickups in question:waypastcrazy wrote:Ok guys the E350 and f350 call for same pick up tube but have completely different oil pans.
F250 pan: pickup support bolts to #4 main cap bolt.
E250 pan: pickup support bolts to #3 main cap bolt.
Paul
P.S.: I'm pretty sure we have an F250 pan/pickup combo over here, if needed.
Re: Truck pan pickup tube
