I am putting up for sale my 460 out of the Ranger the best time with this engine is a 6.72 et 100.50 mph wt 3265 never turned it over 6500 rpm.I am checking everything right now and should be back together this weekend or sometime next week. HP esteemed by Wallace Racing Calc. not has not been dyno  

Here is a run down on the engine
Compression 11.6:1
Motorsports G429 intake I converted to a 4500 pad
Motorsports Aluminum valve covers.
Dove-c heads with ss valves stock size, home porting on the exhaust ports and intake ports cleaned up a little and opened up to match intake with bowls bended with 7/16 arp rocker studs and guide plate 5/16,   5/16 trick flow harden pushrods 8.50, with Harland Sharp 1.73 roller rocker, valve springs  lunati spring number 73121 spring card will go with engine
Custom Solid Lift Cam flat tappet from Randy M. .649 in 260 duro at .050 .642 ex 271 duro at .050  111 lobe sep   spec card will go with engine
Comp Billet double roller timing set
Melling  HV oil pump
Stock crank 3.85 turned .010 .010 with king bearings
Stock truck rods
Speed Pro Flat Top Hyper pistons stock bore 4.36

All you will need is carb, water pump, and dizzy

$1500 for engine I will travel 200 miles from zip 31760 and meet you prefer not to ship it.

If someone buy's the engine I will throw the stall converter in with it for a c6 for a extra $300 but not selling it unless I sale the engine. It is a TCI 10" it stalled 4200 behind this engine it is still in the truck right now so I will have to pull it if you buy it with the engine.

That is a large cam, have you driven this on the street, or strictly strip?

Yes the compression is to much for pump gas unless you going to run e85 the compression came out to 11.6 to 1 with my calculation

I have the factory dish piston that could be put back on the rods plus I think I still have the piston and rods that came out of the engine I built the 552 from. I am not sure the cam would work with the dish pistons you could check with Randy M. he custom built it for me but I will throw the crank it is standard stock crank never been turn it still in great shape and pistons/rods it only had 68,000 mile on the engine it came out of a motorhome, with a set of King main and rod bearings for a extra $100

The only reason I am selling it is to get my glide built or I would keep it I have way more than that in it I would like to have it in the 69 but I got a good running 351w in it.

I added the TCI stall to the 1st post so read it all the stall is not for sale right now unless the engine is sold and the buyer does not want it if the engine don't sale I will keep it for the engine.

I will also let the flex plate go with it. It will not work on my 552 it is a cat power SFI cert flex plate it is in great shape but you will have to buy new flex plate bolts I used them on my 552. Standard flex plate bolts will not work they will be to short and standard shift flywheel are to long. I don't remember the ARP # for the ones that I used I thought I wrote them down but can't find the # now.

I fixed your calculation the piston dome volume should be a negative number for the valve reliefs. Only use positive if a dome piston. Hope this helps your sale.

ok that's for the info I use what summit had listed for the pistons I didn't know you was supposed to use a - for a flat top piston I thought that was for dished only. That just makes it a little better if it don't sale I can run it on 93 oct with a little oct booster in it.
