DOVE-A 429 Long Block For Sale with Edelbrock heads (SOLD)

Edelbrock Aluminum Heads, Performer RPM, 850 Holley, Duraspark, Solid Lifter Cam, roller tiped rockers. Claimed to be in the 475hp range by the builder and runs OK and has good Oil Pressure. I was told the Motor is .030 over and about 9.5:1

Motor will be Minus Accessories, Water Pump, Timing Cover, Oil Pan/Pick-up and Flywheel

It will be avaliable in Early June as I'm out of town and won't be able to get to it in storage for shipment or pick-up.

Needs a New Home ! I have entirely too many motors sitting around doing nothing.

Dave how much run time is on the motor ? If you know ? any isea of what kind of Tq...I'am thinking about this for my 70 Ford CS...

My guess is 15-20k ??? Would be happy to tear it down with the buyer to verify condition. But like I said won't be untill June

Does this engine have stock rods ? cast or forged pistons ?

It's my understanding that it has some kind of Hyper Piston and Stock Rods, but I haven't torn it down to verifiy, But again I'm willing to tear it down for any prospective buyer as long as you put up enough money for gaskets if you back out and nothing is wrong with it. If somethings bad or outside of normal its on me.

I'd actually perfer to pull it down as I do not trust the source I obtained the motor from and don't want any hard feelings with the buyer if somethings not what they expected.

It fired right up, had good oil pressure, Runs OK and pulled decent when it was in the car.

I have a 78 F150 with a 6.6 but i am wanting to switch it out with something better. I would love to put this in my truck. just let me know how much.
