Powerglide Issue

Guess the best way for me to put this is short version and if any other info is needed we will go from there.

Ok so I have a Power glide trans in my dragster. Just got everything buttoned up and back together. Now it will go into reverse but when put in low you can fill it trying to pull but kind of like something in a bind or something. Also when hit the trans brake it starts backing up. I don't mean rocks back I mean like its put into reverse. No pro brake. Just wanted to see if anyone has ever had this issue or might know what might be causing it. Thinking the band could be to loose or something not sure? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Sounds like a linkage/cable adjustment issue to me. Mine did the same thing. Put shifter in low and readjust from there.

Also, is band correctly adjusted?
