How about telling us a bit more about the car. ?

This go show when you have Lem and other fine guys on this forum working together that P-51 heads and the right combo can make some amazing horse power and as we all know the car will have to do it job to so i just want to say good job guy for all the hard work.

Nick , I have not attempted a 1/4 mile pass since the nmra race last fall. When I did then I had my windshield braces made out of 3/8 brake line tubing and they bent back about 2" around the 1000' mark and I lifted. It went like 8.22 @ 140 mph with a 6.65 1000' et.

Larry the car is home built from an art morrison mild steel super car chassis kit. It was built by myself on a plywood jig on a concrete shop floor. It has a chassis engineering top gun 4 link and diagonal link. Strange spindle mount struts. The car weighed 2400lbs with me in it last fall at nmra.

what about the body? is it an all fiberglass deal?

Yes the body is all fiberglass. It was built by the original owner of Bruis glassworks when the company was in jolten ,tennessee. Here are some old pics of the chassis in the works

I take it that on launch the shut off is coming out? Here is something that might help if you are using a 3-way shut off valve.
