'58 on a diet??
Recently, I have assembled a couple of all aluminum BBFs for customers and became interested in having one of my own some day. A couple of weeks ago I ran across a deal that I couldn't resist. An undamaged, unmolested RDI aluminum block for very fair price. It has nice 4.560 bores, Jesel 1.062" keyway lifter bushings and came complete with head studs.
Since the 618 Interceptor was completed, I have been pondering a smaller bore engine to see what kind of power the heads would make at 4.600 or 4.625.
Just planning now, but maybe a 4.625 X 4.85 stroke, 652 inch deal. Had to show it off anyway....

Re: '58 on a diet??
Thanks guys....
Hopefully, it will be a few months before I start gathering major parts. I sealed it back up in the shipping box and stashed it away....to keep from starting the project too soon. I need to freshen up my old...trusty Blue Thunder 514 first, since I have a customer interested in buying it.
Thanks,
Keith
