Manual rack and pinion
Where is the cheapest and best place to buy a manual rack and pinion steering for a 94 ford ranger? Guard rail took mine out at last race.

I never could fine a manual rack for mine I looked and looked never could come up with anything. I took my lines off and kelp turning to get all the fluid out of it and put some grease in it thro the pressure side and return side turn it a few times to work and excess out. You can cut the line end off and take a rubber hose and connect the to outlets together to keep out mud and dirt. I been running mine like this sense I built the truck. Mine is a 2000 not a 94 but should work the same.

Re: Manual rack and pinion
It had manual steering on it but it got busted up and a lot of pieces are missing. Cant tell what kind it is or was.
Looks like its small for a 4x4 truck.
Not enough room for power steering gear box.
I dont know how to put video on here and my kids arent here to do it for me! Its on youtube watch Cato"s Crash Hamilton Mo july 13 2013.

Did it brake a front axle it looks like the left front stop pulling right before maybe a split sec it starts turning left it.

All I have to say is did you get all of the seat out of your rear when you got out? Seems your rear would have puckered so hard it tried to suck the floor pan up!
I've seen several people adapt Sweet racks or any of the Mustang style racks. It's not that hard as long as your fabrication and welding skills are up to snuff. Any by looking at the rest of the truck, I think you'd be fine. I ran a manual Mustang rack on the front of mine until I went full hydraulic. I still use the original mounts off the axle to mount my ram.
