Crank pulley for racing alternator
Does anyone here sell an undersize aluminum crank pulley to run an alternator on a track only car? I want to install one on my car. V-groove is what I'm looking for, I have to adapt a mount for my front plate.

What damper?
I have an ATI damper. It uses a 3 bolt BBC front pulley bolt pattern. I use a 5" pulley from East Coast Auto Electric:

If you have a damper with a Ford bolt pattern you can get one from DSC Motorsports

a pic of it on a friends BBF dragster:

Re: Crank pulley for racing alternator
I just recently bought a billet, 4 bolt Ford, deep groove, 4" O.D. crankshaft pulley from MOROSO #64551. It has an offset and is not flat.
Re: Crank pulley for racing alternator
Glad someone asked the question I was gonna buy the March pulley but at $97.99 the CVF and DSC look like a way better price.

Re: Crank pulley for racing alternator
I have personally witnessed how ineffective an alternator is when "slowed down" by the addition of a larger diameter alternator pulley. On applications with extended high RPM operation a larger pulley may provide extended service to an alternator. On a drag race application, slowing the alternator (at most Bracket Race levels) will not provide sufficient voltage/charging to the system.

Re: Crank pulley for racing alternator
I was going to run a stock pulley on the alternator, just an undersize on the crank to reduce the speed a bit.
