Re: Gun rights in Bama.
I will conceal carry and open carry as long as its legal and no one will convince me different.
At one time I didn't.But being robbed twice.
And local sheriffs telling me they are short staffed and takes a 2 hr response time if I need them.Oh yes bet your ass the wife and I are packing.

Re: Gun rights in Bama.
In Michigan the law states the to fire a weapon at someone the shooter has to BELIEVE he or someone else is in "immediate danger of bodily harm".
To be honest ... that exact point in time is different for almost everybody.
Now, someone who is defenseless and already shot and laying on the floor would not present that danger unless he was pointing a gun at someone else.

Yeah, just look at the Zimmerman/Trevon Martin case... That kid got what he had coming... I have no problem with any criminal getting the same treatment... Tax money saved is how I see it... Only in this case, tax dollars were wasted trying to bring the good guy down...

Pulling the trigger on someone is a lot harder than you think. Living with it is difficult for some as well.....

I got an email yesterday about how the news media only showed pics of 12 year old trevon. Attatched was a pic of 17 year old trevon...ENTIRELY different, 6"2" 175 lbs with more than 1 tatoo. He had a bit problem with the Law, also.

Most media doesn't let the truth get in the way of a good story. It is all about how many people watch.

Dan it's not what you think I was breaking up a fight and the guy pulled a gun and pointed it at me, I took it from him after he shot a guy in the face knocking out 3 teeth and breaking his lower jaw...

Re: Gun rights in Bama.
It amazes me as to how freaked out some folks get when they see someone practicing open carry. "Sheeple." I guess none of them would've made it west of the Mississippi a few generations ago.
Attempted to legally check a handgun on a flight a couple of years ago. Airline lady was all spastic. Telling me to put the filled out card in the locked case instead of attached to the outside regardless of my insistance. Sure as sh!t I get stopped at the gate and prevented from boarding. "Undeclared firearm in my checked baggage". Just before I missed my flight they unf'ed themselves, got the story from the airline lady at the counter and I was the last to board the SWA flight.
I'm legally concealed now due to my job but never used to be. I've never believed we should have to get a state's permission for a right that "shall not be infringed". F'ing BS if you ask me.

I agree. I have a CWP, but it annoys the hell out of me to pay a fee and ask a polititian to bless me with one of my constitutional rights.

If you were permitted to carry open or concealed , which would you choose?

Like many, many people, I drive a truck or a car so, CONCEALED, of course. I don't want to think about un-loading and where to put the pistol and ammo just to go from one area to another.
Re: Gun rights in Bama.
Heck the only person I know in Tn that isn't carrying is my daughter. I guess we will have to fix that!
