Comp cam 34-325-4 with stock valve springs?
I have a 460 with dove heads stock rebuilt heads stock springs. I was wondering I I can run this cam with the stock springs comp cam extreme 4x4 34-235-4. It is i a 4x4 play toy not a race motor. Want a lopy cam and more power . Have an edelbrock performer thinking to swap to an weiand with cam swap.
I have been told yes and no on the springs asking here for help. Not a mud bogger or racer .
If there is a better choice let me know. Cam now I was told is an rv cam no specs on it .
Thanks.

You can run "like new" stock valve springs if you don't expect to go over about 4,800 RPM.77ford wrote:I have a 460 with dove heads stock rebuilt heads stock springs. With well used stock valve springs the RPM ceiling will be even lower.
KEEP the Edelbrock.
