Drag Week

Anybody know anyone who's participating in it? My buddy Dale aka quick52 is a member is doing it and he's doing well   He has made it into the Top 32 Daily Drivers, getting ready for the finals today. Dale is driving his awesome BBF powered 1952 F1  .

Dales done this before, I believe he won his class in 09 and 10. Let's all root Dale on to victory

Micheal Moore from Canada and his buddy Tom, dropped in here late last Friday night and I took them to dinner at Old Hickory B B Q. Then to daddy Lawes Mayfield's for a shop visit and after that set them on the road to Bowling Green.

Called them Sat. morning and "suggested" that they show up at Beacon Dragway for the Jegs Quick 32 race. They did. They got to see Rattlesnake Jack's BB Ford powered Mustang qualify for the program, and also 3 BB Ford powered dragsters qualify. Mr. Scott Carman was the # 1 qualifier and then James Shown won the whole shooting match with David Cole's old engine.

They will be back in town tomorrow, and Uncle Lem is in charge of the entertainment.  I heard something about supper at Texas Roadhouse.

Hey Guys back in town now it was a great week all went well won the grudge race for charity also won quickest street rod but the trophy was given to someone else and mix up... Red lighted second round in Daily Driver shoot out pushed threw the lights.... lots of good memories and new friends
