A "Bolt-in" competition roll bar should satisfy the safety regulations for the speed you are going now.gdog wrote:Mark,
Safety rules are in place for a reason. Making the car go faster is not going to be hard. Mini tub it and put more rubber on the ground will fix the speed part. The roll bar deal has me really thinking. I don't want to hack up a pretty nice car. I am not totally against it as I saw some places that will almost hide it. And it is not like anybody rides in the back seat.

Well unless you want a kick in the nuts you better listen to what you're told .

Randy,
I was thinking of that. I'm not going to take a torch to the old girl. Although I think all would appreciate that our removal of the shock towers and addition of the new front suspension was done in a crafty and tasteful manner.
But we may have to look at the bolt in deal.
Thanks
Gordon

If you put a rollbar in the car come run the 10.50 Renegade class at Thompson. If not slow it down and run the 11.50 class with me.gdog wrote:Mark,
Thompson is just as close to me also. We just went to Quaker because we know the lay of the land there. It is a nice facility.
I haven't been to Thompson since I was a kid. It was cool back in the day because they ran funny cars. You could really cool to feel the thump of those cars from the starting line bridge.
After we address our traction issues I guess it is the place to go.

Later Mark.
