to bypass or Not
Ok, Need input on oil filters, Im runnin Napa gold filter on 30 wt Valvaline,,, Oil psi is 80, so when Im at wide open , usually 6800-7100, for roughly 15 - 25 seconds, what is the probability of my filter being in bypass,,, How many of you all use a non-bypass filter, or is this even worth worrying about ?

Re: to bypass or Not
Get two pressure gauges. One before the filter and one after. See what the difference is. That filter should bypass around 10psi. Does it matter, only if you want all the oil filtered all the time. If you don't expect a lot of debris in the oil (like a failed flat tappet cam lobe) I don't think it matters all too much.
