   I think he's got it backward... The total cost of building a BBF vs. BBC has been disproven time and again... One of the car mags even did a build a few yrs ago of both engines, and IIRC, all aspects of the build being equal, the BBF made more power and cost less to get there than the BBC... They may have more options for high speed parts, but dollar for dollar, the BBF will make more power, than a BBC...

You don't happen to know which mag that was? I sure would like to get my hands on THAT article  . I quit reading those rag mags a long time ago because of the blatant cheby bias  .

IIRC, it was Car Craft... I don't remember all the specifics, but again IIRC, I believe they built similar strokers, (532'ish?) and the BBF beat it out everywhere, even in the budget... The article was showed to me by one of the local machine shops that bleeds Chevy orange and it was enough to convince him to build a BBF... Though he sold the engine without running it, other than dyno time ... Oh yeah, he never did say what the dyno numbers were... Straaange... 

We used to call it cheby craft  . I'm sure he would have told you the dyno #'s if they weren't good, haha.
