That was a close one!!!
T&T with the f100, working all the bugs out. Running 1.860ft's and 12.7ET and it's still not even close to right! Anyways, thought I'd share my close encounter with you guys, also, my custom brakes held up to that panic braking at about 100mph. The guy was at 120mph at the 1000ft, he was hauling ass.

Probably was a good thing you spent the money on brakes instead of performance parts to make it run faster

Wow. That guy was lucky--looks like he kept off the wall and kept it out of your lane (for the most part).
What were you thinking when that was happening? Just curious. People react to stuff like this very differently. Seemed to me you knew exactly what to do without hesitating or a second thought.

Good job man. Way to stay calm. I bet that ol boy was as nervous as a mashed cat when he stopped. Glad nobody got hurt!

Re: That was a close one!!!
All I was thinking was try to slow it down in time, the only thing I was looking at the whole time was him. I was just watching which way the car was going to go, everything else was natural reaction. I didn't even see the orange box I ran over, I was just focused on him. After that I made sure he was alright, had he hit the wall or flipped I would have gotten out and made sure he wasn't hurt or even pulled him from the car if I had to. But he was fine, he seemed calm when I talked to him after he got back to the pits.psfracer wrote:Wow. A bunch of guys came over to me when I got back and told me I did a good job, they thought I was going to take him out when he came into my lane. It could have gotten very bad for both of us, props to him for not hitting me or the wall.

I like dry-hops after a burnout, they're fun.
Nice heads-up driving, never know when some ricer in the other lane might mistake a drag strip for a drifting course.
Also looking around your youtube page I noticed your driveline before/after Caltrac videos. It's always amazing how much pinion rotation can happen with leafsprings and no traction device help.

My buddy sent it to them yesterday, now it's on their website and Facebook page. Lots of people have been watching it, my friends keep sharing it with other people. They shit bricks watching it Thanks guys, I handled it the best I could
Luckily I didn't have to swerve into the other lane or take any drastic measures.

Justin keep up the good work and watching the other driver we never know when something may happen and helps to see what the other driver is doing and just pray the driver in the other lane is doing the same thing.
