351w radiator big enough?

I have my old radiator out of my 69 Fairlane, and I was wanting to know if it will be sufficient for cooling my 429 . This radiator was cooling the 351w that was in the car before.

probably not. The conversion of air and gasoline to hp builds heat. If your making more HP, you've got more heat to get rid of. Usually core size is fine, tank size is too small, have to have sufficient coolant to allow the coolant to achieve a delta, (cold enough going in to take the heat out), otherwise the combination just keeps adding heat to hot water till there is no way to get more heat in.. IE overheat.

Yea I agree w/Kim. Not big enough. 

Well, I guess I'll be on a search for new aluminum radiator
