98 Jack Roush Mustang, 610 c i bbf
610 ci BBF, A-460 block, C heads with T&D rockers, 1.7 ratio, (spares), Manton pushrods, spare set of trick flow push rods, Crane roller lifters, titanium intake valves, Inconel steel exhaust valves, Manley springs, diamond pistons (1 spare), coated tops and sides, tool steel rings, GRP pro series nitrous rods, roller cam bearings, Calles crank, ATi super dampener, Jeff Johnston oil pan with external mount stock car products oil pump, remote mount oil filter with system 1 filter, custom made front exit headers, C&S water pump, MSD crank trigger and crank trigger distributor, custom Bullet cam shaft, Danny Bee belt drive, A-460 matching intake that has been port matched to heads. Head and intake gaskets are cometic, Pro Systems 1450 CFM carburetor built for this combination. ARP head studs, and arp intake bolts. Heads originally ported by Charlie Evans. Reworked by Mike Curcio of M.C. R.P. Short block assembled by Tim Knieriem of Knieriem Racing Engines.
Electronics consist of a Sportsman’s Race Pack data logger with dash mount, records vacuum, driveshaft revolutions, rpm, g-force, oil pressure, fuel pressure, nitrous pressure, water temperature, engine rpm, and air/fuel ratio. MSD 7531 box, ARC roll bar mounted electrical panel with small remote panel in engine compartment, biondo electric shifter, two installed 16 volt batteries, one spare and 2, 16 volt battery chargers. Magna-Fuel pump and filter.
Currently there is a NX fogger system that was flowed and plumbed by Kevin Neal at Junebug Nitrous Systems, new fuel and nitrous solenoids, new stainless steel jets, also have a Widow Maker nitrous plate that was flowed by Kevin Neal. Have not installed plate. NLR nitrous controller.
Transmission is a power glide with JW Case and is fully rollerized. Custom Bradco nitrous converter, 1.69 straight cut gears, upgraded aluminum racing pump and ATI trans brake. Hurst shifter.
The body is a 21,000 mile body from GA. Chrome moly roll cage that is a 25.5 roll cage, k member, and relocation of master cylinder, steering shaft, headers, interior metal work, and reinforcing of the rear end by Mike Adams. Astonishing work. 5 gallon fuel cell. 8.8 rear end with 3.73 gears, light weight spool, 35 spline strange axles and spool. Strange brakes all around. Stroud chute with launcher. Pulled once. K-member and a arms are chrome moly. Custom double adjustable shocks and struts from Mark Menscher Coil over set up. Shocks can be mounted inside or in stock location. Double adjustable uppers, anti-roll bar. Billet Specialty wheels
Numerous photos. Head specs, cam specs and other specifics to serious inquires. Have numerous photos. Car was painted by After Hours Customz of Atlanta, Ga. A lot of potential is left here. Need to sell. Will separate if motor is sold 1st.
Car has been a best of 5.13 at 142 mph on a very light tune up. Much potential left. Car easily run 4.80s, 4.70s. This was at 3400 lbs. We did not have much time with the car this past summer. Has about 20 full 1/8 mile passes, of those 6 were motor passes. Car ran 5.96 at 121 @ 3,400 lbs on all motor. This with a nitrous converter and cam.
