valve cover bolt holes
Am I correct, all scj and PI heads have the valve cover bolt hole that goes through into the intake port?

I've had 2 sets of pi heads and seem 3 or 4 sets of scj heads. All had them. I'm talking aboutcast iron heads.

I was talking about factory cast iron heads also. I wasn't sure about the PI's. I know that the SCJ's did from trying to start my SCJ torino with just a couple of bolts in to hold the VC in place to warm it up to set the valves, wouldn't idle at all and barely ran.

Re: valve cover bolt holes
Someone on eBay was asking if there was a hole in intake port?

Yep the 2 end intake ports where the valve cover bolts are were drilled through to the intake port.
