'32 Ford altered nostalgia drag replica nearly completed
Out in the sunlight under it's own power for the first time. Still much tuning to do and loose ends. It will be driving the Duke City streets this summer.

I got the headers from Speedway. Just BBC sprint style with the fiberglass baffles in the side pipes to knock down the noise. Adapters to go from the SCJ's to the headers from a site vendor.jasonf wrote:Nice car. Who's headers did you use?
Thanks guys.

That is super cool. Where did you get the header flange adapters from?

Mr. Charlie Evans.
Everybody and their brothers make SBC/BBC stuff for these kinds of rods. I just couldn't put a Chevy in it. Sacrilege. His adapters made it easy to get any style pipe I wanted on it quickly/cheaply.

I'm glad you didn't put a Chebby motor in there too. I always look for that first, if it has one in it, I keep on walking. LOL. Your car looks excellent!!

Its a 525ci 10:1 motor. Probe pistons, forged everything, SCJ's OOTB, BDS 460 intake, 6-71 at 3psi (more for the look than anything as its just too damn small to be efficient), a comp solid flat tappet at roughly 600 lift, 2400 stall, mvb C6, 3.70's on a spool. Carb is a Holley 950 blower model. I have a twin 950 and a dual carb blower top fixing to go on soon and mount the carbs side saddle with Enderle linkage.. I just wanted to get it going and get it all registered and driving. Then I'll start playing with dialing in twin carbs. Guestimating an easy 500hp all day @ 2200lbs weight = holy effing white knuckles on radials. I'll get a set of auto drags and slicks for our "Hot Rod Rumbles" at our local strip.
