anybody broke a crankshaft lately? cast or forged!

just wondering if anybody broke a crankshaft lately? was reading a bunch of old post about scat, eagle, ect cast and forged cranks from back in the years 2000 to 2009 and was wondering has the metal in the crank gotton better because I don,t here people talking about there crank breaking that much anymore! i here about guys running cast cranks for years before they find problems with them! let me know what you think about the company's that are producing these cranks! and are they making better cast and forged material cranks?
