Forged crank cast #

Hello, On a 429 industrial forged crank what is the casting number s ?

I can't imagine why a forged crank would have a casting #.

Just trying to confirm what I will be looking at when I go to meet seller. I have never seen one before so better to have info on hand.

I have not gone to meet seller yet I have received sporadic responses from him on when he is avail to meet. He seemed upset when I met him at Atlanta dragway swap meet that it was going to be torn down. Another one going to ashes that will rise to apartments with amenities.

From little I know Atl. dragway is being sold to a battery manufacturing facility .Batteries for electric cars no less .There is a little irony in this somehow.Doug

yes this is true , right between the 2 apartment complexes !!!

The apartments they built across the street was the sign change was coming. Joke was Southern Nationals first round of nitro cars taking off the apt dwellers would freak and call mgmt and complain "the noise and window rattling is not part of the amenities pkg".
VP fuel behind the track left town also.

I haven't been to Commerce in so long I didn't know about the apartments .My local track is located in Reynolds so I don't go north to much .Really sad though it seems to me drag racing is going away .Twenty five years ago Atl. Drag way was out in the country .Real estate in Ga. is at a premium now no room for loud stinky old drag strips .Doug
