Boss 429
Don't if any of you watch Fast and Loud, but tonight they buy a Boss 429 Fastback Mustang, suppose to be original. Hope they rebuild it right and don't ruin it.

Oh crap...
I bet they put 18" rims...air ride...and a crate motor in it...
And..Sue will call them "ass monkey"
Just to cut donuts.
Sorry...had to say it.
The show can be rather entertaining if only watched occasionally.

I agree Keith.....
They did do a nice job on that convertible mustang that they wrecked. I couldn't figure out why he didn't just fix it? It wasn't that bad.

Yeah....
Even a TV show about my bizarre menagerie of racing BS would become lame after a episode or 2.
Those who follow my escapades know what I am talking about..,
Shit....
Methanol, aspirin and rock and rock and roll!
I sure hope the show respects the heritage of the car.

That was probably the best outcome for that car, they would have just screwed it up! I can barely watch that show, they are idiots! I do enjoy it when they take a car to auction and lose a pile of money, though.richter69 wrote:just shinned it up and sold it.......

Re: Boss 429
According to the B9 website the B9 was missing a lot of original parts which lowered the value. Also they did go into the engine and replaced some rocker arms and push rods but that didn't make it on the show. Some on the other B9 site thought it brought fair money others thought it was over priced. I didn't think it would bring anywhere near Richards "300,000" number. As far as the Black convertible Mustang they did fix it and sell it. I too thought it odd that they at first said it was a total loss and was un-fixable it didn't look that bad. As long as you don't believe all their "facts" It's entertaining. But I do hate the "values" that they put on the cars as it tends to drive prices up. After the early Bronco they did prices went through the roof !!

Yep I liked the Falcon too But I wonder how much they really know about stuff.....Any road racer that runs a Mustang/Falcon knows that the shock towers should be tied together ala a Monte Carlo bar. I also wonder about the B/W trans that they put in it. I would have gone with a 5 speed plenty of road racers use them. Still a cool car. You can't beat an early Falcon for looks!!!
