With that big of a camshaft ... the 8021 Stealth.
A 557 aint making any kinda power at all above 6,200 RPM with any kind of D0VE heads although it may go for the ride and RPM to 7,000 RPM.

Randy, would there be much of. A hp and rpm gain if I would run my victor intake instead.next year I plan to run a dooe head next year on it,so motor is setup for that, just couldnt afford both this yearrmcomprandy wrote:rwjaeger wrote:Got a 557 built for my mudbogger solid roller cam 276/286@.050 with well ported dove heads, must run dual plane intake for class, plan to spin it to 7200 what intake would perform best an air gap or a stealth 8021 and why, thanks, running a 1050 qft 1050 4150 carb

A Victor with a "Victor Port Match" on the heads would help on the top a little with a Dominator but, the thing is cylinder head limited for sheer volume of air.
You would lose twice the torque of what you gained in horsepower. A Victor with a smaller duration camshaft would perform a lot better with D0VE heads on 557 cubic inches.
