how many Qts of tranny fluid in the powerglide?

i have the deep pan which is supposedly +2 Qts.i asked at the autoparts store but they couldnt give a decent answer something like 9-12 Qts.i now have 8 Qts but couldnt get a good reading.i just need some idea of how many you guys normally put in.

Mine with the metric converter, deep pan, cooler in the rear, took 8.5 quarts.

I'd get a 12 pack and have some spares to be safe.

well im way passed a 12 pack i have 5 gallons of AW-32 on hand 5 gallons was cheaper than buying 2 gallons.
