powercone spacer for dominator
I am changing my intake setup to a TFS mafia and 1150 Dominator from a track heat and 4150 carb. I did not see a "powercone" spacer listed for dominator carbs on the Jomar website. Summit has a tapered spacer from canton that looks decent. What jomar spacer would be similar to the powercone on my track heat manifold? - thanks....... Glen

Or maybe the question should be "what would work nicely on my 545 (I have a dominator size 1" open spacer I could try)"?

I got my jomar from lem as well. I believe he said the 1050/1150 take the same spacer.

Re: powercone spacer for dominator
I had a customer install it upside-down because it lined-up better with an un-ported "Mafia" carb pad.
He was still happy with the power result, LOL.

Re: powercone spacer for dominator
It seems that the 4500 series power cones are tough to find on jomar's site.
Here are the four styles that we stock....
5065 X that fits the 2" butterflies of the 1050/1150 carbs
5065 X1 for the 2-1/8" 1250 carbs
5065 X2 """""""" 2-1/4" 1450 carbs
5065 X3 """""""" for the 2.300" custom carb like Rob S. has.
I hope this helps......Lem

It made 9hp at peak hp but...what it done for the curve after peak was where I thought it really shined! Really brought those numbers up (more than 9hp)-A

It's also a great heat isolator.

Good observation. How well the power holds on once the engine peaks is often over looked.
Re: powercone spacer for dominator
Do these spacers also help average power/torque numbers below peaks?

Usually ... that is where the improvement will show; not necessarily at the peaks.

Re: powercone spacer for dominator
I'm unsure if I have the spacer installed correctly. Should the carved area be up towards the carburetor or towards the intake. Different than any type of spacer I've ever tried.

Taper facing away from the carb. Smooth 4 hole side to the carb.
