How do you compress the files of a pic to put on the forum?

Hey Darrin,

I think there is an option on what ever picture host you are using that resizes them. I think on Photobucket you have to do that when you upload them to their site.
I see in another post, you have something running now? When do you plan on taking it to Pacific?

Is there an Image Resizer for Windows 7 as there was in Windows XP Power Toys? Windows 7 Question

Windows XP has an Image Resizer (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/Downloads/powertoys/Xppowertoys.mspx) which does a fantastic job.  I've looked for a version for Windows 7 but can't locate one.  Is one available or any other suggestions?

Thanks. Answer

I've used the image resizer powertop for years....it was a free download from MS. I copy/pasted this after searching the MS site for "power toy".

Why not just use the Paint program that comes with Windows to reduce the pic size before uploading it to a pic hosting site?
