1986 coupe car horsepower

i just bought an 86 fox coupe car with a 466 bbf 11.7-1 comp. with roller rockers, 950hp holley, edelbrock air gap intake and c6. it has an 8.8 rear axle with 4.56 gears and a spool running 28x11.50 et streets. the car has been gutted and caged. well i was wondering how to figure an approximate hp number using my 1/8 mile best et at 7.57 at 96mph. i am not sure what the car weighs but it is gutted with a full cage, no dash, no carpet, no headliner, no backseat basic aluminum dash and door panels.

it was a blast to drive. i am usually into mud racing but it was neat running on the strip. the car has a major traction issue and the shifter needs to some adjustment. i believe with traction and good shifts it would easily run 7.20s. i did run the crap out of the car and the only problems i had were traction and shifter issues. sometimes you bump the ratchet shifter once to go from 1-2nd and it would go between gears and then sometimes it would go to 1-3rd. i ran about 6 passes back to back and the engine ran perfect. shifting at about 6400rpm and going through the lights at about 6400rpm.

what kind of hp do you think it has? i have a 521 thats going into the car next and the most powerful motor goes into my mud truck and the other goes back into the car to drag race every now and then.

thanks i got it worked out it looks like between 424-447 horsepower. not bad out of a 466 with c8ve heads and a small .540 lift cam!
