mud racing... go to take off on green and smash the pedal to the floor and the engine cuts right out for like 2 seconds then goes like a raped ape..... holley 750 with vacuum secondaries.
any idea's?

Lean Stumble.

Possible causes, NO or not enough accelerator pump shot.

Some fool puts a screw in the mechanism on the vac secondary linkage to force them open.

Lean idle mixture.

Low float level.

If you are not leaving from an idle, you're using up a lot of pump shot.

Another thought if you run a vac advance be sure its on the right port.
