Ohio Valley Dragway ??

Thinking of running the Jeg's SuperQuik race on July 26.
Can anyone tell me about the track ?? Hotels in the area ??

Anything else I need to know ??

It was certainly a really, REALLY nice place 5 years ago. I think the entire track is concrete and the shut-down area was more than a 1/4 mile long.
It is just in the southwest suburbs of Louisville so hotels would probably be all over the place.

Your best bet on good hotels would be the ft knox/radcliff area about 15 - 20 minutes south of the track several on the same road(31w). To the north are some motels but kinda rough till you get into Louisville and those are a little further out. If you need phone numbers let me know and I will get some for you they are right down the road from me.

Possibly the best 1/8th mile track you have ever seen. I used to announce there, and every weekend was like a slugfest of NHRA National record holders in the Stock and S/S classes.

Try looking for hotels in Shepherdsville or Brooks Ky. Ohio Valley is a great little 1/8 mile race track with a good size pit area. I have been going there for years and it is always packed for the bigger events.
