IMO aluminum slots have always been the way to go on a street/street rod/hot rod/ type car. I even think they would look great on some Pro Street type cars if you could get them in a wide enough rim these days.

Maybe I'm stuck in the 70's-'80's but I prefer Weld Draglites or Alumastars.
