I've blown up all of them. Best bang for the buck is still the one Fabio mentioned. I have a CVR on mine now, and it's working fine, but it's twice as much.

Use the parts store F350 unit. Most of 'em offer a lifetime warranty, so no matter how many you blow up, you'll only buy one. I use one and it works great.

My compression ain't all that high, but I know of lots of guys who use it with big inches and big compression...apparently Copperhead included.

I have a cvr and the f250 . The f250 spins the engine better than my cvr and its 3lbs lighter.

O'Reilly starter installed, and wa la we gots cranking power baby It was 154.00 with tax and core charge. I looked at the 3 leading autoparts stores and did not find this under 100.00 starter you guys speak of, but Im ok with the 154. Like you all said life time warranty=priceless

Now that's dedication to saving weight. "Swiss cheesing" a car, taken to extremes.
That reminds me...The NASCAR guys used to do that to their carb mounting studs. It was a cheater's way of getting more air into a restrictor plate engine.

15.3:1 and use a stock 90's starter with a 16 volt battery. Works great. DB electric has them around 60 bucks on the internet

I am hoping Charlie Evans will see these and buy me some titanium head studs , carb studs , header bolts lug nuts, etc and i will "gun drill " them and sell these header bolts to Fabio fer 250 bucks lol
