Gonna Miss PHR & MM&Fs
I recently received my last issues of 5.0 Mustangs &Fords, as well as PHR and Modified Mustangs & Fords.
This sucks it is bad enough all the Chebbie bias in print without losing a couple of great Ford mags. PHR was building a twin Gt-88 BBF for their Fox-body 'Stang.
I haven't warmed up to Mustang Monthly yet.

Yeah me too!! I can't believe that they sent me a subscription to Hot Rod magazine to finish my 5.0 mustang and super ford subscription. I changed that right away. At least I Have Muscle mustangs and fast fords to look forward to. I hope Mustang monthly has more modified cars as opposed to all the restored stuff. Not sure about it either. Sad when they just drop a bunch of magazines all at once. They dropped Rod and Custom too!

When those magazines lose money to be published ... they WILL go away.
I don't understand why they don't wait till the next month to post the articles on-line. WHY buy the printed magazine...? Sometimes it arrives to the newsstands even later than the on-line articles.

What really sucks is during the Era of Pro-Street PHR & Rod & Custom seemed to have better cars than Hot Rod.
As for digital mags I prefer a real paper mag.

I hate reading articles online. It is way harder on my eyes than just reading a magazine.

They switched my PHR subscription to Road and Track. What a waste of paper that magazine is.

Luckily my PHR subscription expired on the last issue.
I subbed to that mag since 1977. ( still have all the issues)
My 5.0 Mustang ( Super Fords) subscription went to add more years to my Hot Rod sub.
MM & FF is down to about 135 pages now. Use to be over 200.
The print industry is dying a painful death. Such is the price for progress.

I wonder if that can be called progress. I love print mags. Guess I'm just old.

Re: Gonna Miss PHR & MM&Fs
Now I have to find out to do with my 37 year old collection of car mags.
I'll keep all the Super Ford mags and MM &FF.
And I will keep all the CC, Hot Rod, and PHR.
But all the Super Chevy, Chevy Hi-perf, Corvette fever, Mopar Muscle etc. have to go.
At one time in the 90's I subscribed to 43 different automotive publications.
Before the internet came along, that's how information junkies like myself gathered info.
I had Rod and Custom, Truckin', SS &DI, Pontiac Hi-Perf., Buick GSCA, Motor Trend, Car and Driver and numerous more subscriptions going on at the same time.
Yes, I'm a Ford guy reading the brand x mags. Confused...yes.
