End of an era. Took my black truck for a final ride.
After 11 years I sold the old black 63. Just decided to move on. I enjoy my wooden race trucks better. I sold it as a roller, no motor,trans,third member,fuel pumps or electronics. Hated to see it go, almost like one of the family, but didn't want it just to set in the corner. It was the longest I ever had anything. Now to finish up my other projects.

I can under stand a little how you feel every time I think about sailing my 69 I just can't do it I have had it 20 years.

Wow! I would've thought you would've kept that 'ol truck forever. LOL. The "wooden trucks" are your trademark though. Sometimes ya gotta move on I guess. I agree with ya, when you have a vehicle that long, it is like a family member. I've had my Falcon for 23 years,no way I could sell it. LOL

I never sell anything either Wes.Still got my 66 Comet I had in school I heard there is another Black truck getting parked too.....times change and faces change......life goes on!
