THis thing has WAY to much power... Never thought id say that.

Gonna test my smaller prop, try-ing to keep this thing in the water is the issue.

Keep the bigger prop and throttle stop it
Limit yourself and others to only 3/4 the engines capability.  Smaller prop is just going to let zing to wot easier.  If anything a bigger pitch and diameter to load the engine more would probably make it easier to run at various part throttle loads.

Don't buckle up. Maybe you'll be thrown clear.

A simple pulley change, lowering the boost fixes everything...

All and All. Just to much engine.. I knew going from Gas Carbs to Alky injection is a jump in power, but not this freaking large.

With out a capsule you want to get away from the boat.

When in the machine shop used to have a top alcohol hydro we played with. Stuffed right sponson on firebird lake. Capsule probably only reason driver survived. He was pretty beat up. Dave Sharp. ... I'm pretty sure there is u tube video of it.

All I will say is when you put the pedal to the metal you better hang on the prop will be the only thing in the water.

I'm a boat moron. .. but don't the unlimited flat bottoms run some sort of steel tray off the back with braces like us car guys use under a wing to a bumper.. running up to the back of tje boat? Then pretty much fly the things on the back few invhes of the boat and those trays.

are you talking about the Cav.. plate?
Cavation plates are the correct name for them.. and yes flat out, Flat bottom boats ride on these...
