Finally got this thing in the 9's!
Well I haven't posted on here for a while but we've been racing a lot this year. Today I finally made it into the 9's. I went a 9.77 at 1.37 MPH at Gateway. Much better than my previous best of 10.02. I'm still leaving at 2500 RPM on the footbrake and shifting at 6200 RPM so there may still be some more in this combination but its a little closer to where it should be.

That's great. Was it the cool air or have you made changes to make such a big difference?

The cool air helped but I found a few things that weren't right. Like a bent gas pedal that was barely allowing my secondaries to open. I know it wasn't like that when I put the motor in last time but I'm not sure how long its been that way. I think it was flexing and gradually getting worse. Also switched to NGK plugs and found a bad plug wire.
