I like the color I all most painted my 69 f100 the 1st time Yellow but didn't want to take it apart to paint it so I went Blue and 20 years later still blue. To me the Yellow makes these old trucks look great congrats you got something to be Proud of for sure.

Re: 6yrs later....
Its funny...19 yrs ago when I walked into the paint booth and saw it for the first time I hated it and thought Id made a huge mistake painting it yellow.
I changed my mind once I got all the windows and chrome put back on it.
And ive loved it EVER SINCE!

The truck looks awesome, and the engine combo is just sick! Now all we need is:
1. A video w/ a burnout!
2. A video with you letting her scream a few times!

Re: 6yrs later....
Well...I got 60 street miles on it so far Tonight I took it out in the country and opened it up alil bit to see how it handles at higher speeds w. the new frontend.
Good news is it drives great at 90!!
Blows me away how hard it pulls even from a low rpm!!
Also got it weighed on a friends circle track scales. ...... 3775 w. me in it and a half tank of fuel. 56.5% on the front
May be taking it to test at an 1/8 mile track this weekend Updates to follow!
quick vid after we weighed it tonight.

The camera makes it sound like its missing when i got closer for some reason....it isn't though.

Looks good. That thing is quiet. What mufflers you got on it.
Good luck at the track.

Looks killer.
How well did the Mustang strut's total travel vs bump distance work on a truck + real street use?

56.5% on the front in a truck is a great number in my opinion! Man I can't quit watching those videos you've posted. I honestly think you've built the perfect truck LOL. Love it man!

Re: 6yrs later....
Its got 3.5 in magnaflows w turnouts right before the rear axle.
Dave, the struts fit the pickup great. If I remember correctly the struts have 6" total stroke. I biased the travel alil on extension when I set the top mount giving it about 2.25-2.5"of bump travel.
It sure feels like a COMPLETELY diffrent truck than before!
Building it now seems like the easy part...having the balls to hold my foot in it seems to be the difficult part. Lol
Thanks again for the compliments guys.
