my old mans tc has a 35 remington barrel shoots very well .


If i recall i think they even make a 45/70 barrel for the tc Shocked

Yes they do make a 45/70 barrel..... I own an old marlin lever action in 45/70 and I'm not sure I'd want to shoot that round in a pistol.... It hurts bad enough in the rifle.

if you would like it to really shoot> ream out the shoulder to an Ackley improved. size the cases to headspace on the blown out shoulder instead of the rim....just saying, bobn

Got out and put a few rounds thru this thing today, not as bad of recoil as I was expecting. It's actually tolerable.
