You better be handy !!!  Wake up Tuesday morning to the sound of the water pressure system running , Guess what ? the hot water tank decided to Expire !! After a run to the local hardware store for a new tank and some wet vaccing  ,some pipe fitting (natural gas line) plumbing water lines we have a new hot water tank installed !

and because I'd bought the wifey New kitchen lino for Christmas, today I installed that and be damned it looks really good !


Damn this should be good for some brownie points !!

The new race car is awesome...Kitchen looking great, insurance will need a plumber to sign off on the gas in AB call in a favor or send a pm, if the lino was replaced in 68 it contains asbestos, so don't rip it up when you want to replace it go over top with new subfloor

as for the asbestos , well hell you only like once !! it wasn't glued down - just moved the fridge and stove out ,pulled the base boards ,rolled it up , rolled it out on the new lino , traced it cut it out with mods to make it fit better , rolled it up and layed it in place , fit perfect !! Not to worried about asbestos as the one auto repair shop I worked in for 10 years had asbestos spray on insulation on the roof and walls . When they tested the place after nothing happening in the shop for a week( wcb shut the shop down for testing) , the test results showed 700 x the allowable exposure limit for a 8 hr period !!! and I stole a copy of the test result for future reference as with workmans comp you can not sue your employer 11

Damn Frank I did mine wrong, My wife ask me to lay Porcelain tile so I redid the whole bathroom and layed down new porcelain

Damn, I guess it's a blessing that the women find me sexy as I have never been able to do tile.
