.904" roller lifter (backorder for more then a year) problem
Who makes a good .904" roller lifter and keeps them in stock on the shelf.
Been trying to get Crane lifters since april 2014. they told me July... no lifters, October... no lifters, Januari... no lifters and now they came up that it will take some more time.
Thanks Frank

I've got onto the Crower band wagon.
Frank, I know that when you want parts it's not just your typical order as you are running a herd of engines! Have you ever talked to one of the manufacturers about your racing program? It would seem to me one of them would be interested in keeping you supplied with what you need in some type of sponsorship program.
PS. do you have any new videos of this past years pulls?

I've head problems like this before with blocks, heads, crankshafts etc.... Happened a couple of times that we had to wait more then 9 months. Biggest reason that we started to put TFX Hemi's with NRE X1 billet heads on the tractor. Ran this season with 2 TFX engines en 3 BBF's.
I order all my parts through Fowler Engines in Columbus OH. I asked them for a set of Crane lifters in April 2014 because I wanted to have a set of spares on the shelf here during the season. This winter I need to replace a set of lifters in one of our engines. Talked to Fowler about the delivery problems and decided to order a different brand that is also mentioned in a reply in this post at the beginning of december but they didn't show up yet... Also backorder maybe???
Problem is also that all other brands have different seat heights so i would probaly also need new pushrods and my first event is March 9th so my schedule is getting tight now.
But here is one of the best video's of last season, running last in the class, big thunderstorms coming in the sky but got the rpm's up to 8500 and took the biggest trophy home.

Did you swap to five engines at the same meet in this video?
How much HP do you believe you are making with the engines?
And what is the count down for during the starting procedure?

most off the events we are running 2 classes, a 7700 lbs modified class with 4 engines and a 8800 lbs class with 5 engines.
It takes about 15 minutes to add the 5th engine.
HP, think we are around 8000 now

I believe Morel has a couple of different options in .904, including new needle-less 'bushing' style.
