It's going into a 69 cougar. Wish I could tell you about the tranny but I have not ordered it yet since the engines not yet finished, still needs cam, flywheel, and I need to send it off for balancing. I'm kinda slow at getting things done. Was going for the newer, beefier t56 magnum, should be able to take my abuse since I'm not doing drag strip launches with slicks. I only wish they offered more ratio selections. I'm pretty set on it, but if I don't have it by the time Mcleod releases their new m800 tranny I may second guess.

So Lem it is.... I need more stuff from him anyway. Anyone know if he sells alum flywheels?

Most of the time with an EFI system you use a cam with a wider lobe separation angle 112-114 to reduce the amount of overlap with a given duration. This helps to keep the manifold vacuum level more stable and less erratic which the MAP sensor tends to like.
