Re: Street Outlaws
I watch the show quite a bit, but I am getting tired of the increased 'show for the media'. Seems like that girl with the sbc mustang is the mouthiest one of all the d@mn cheby bunch .
Sure would like to see richter get on the show if he would get a fair shake, although he might have blew his chance when he KICKED daddy dave's a$$

He forget to turn on a kit? I mean, your shit is fast no doubt but ain't no way in holy hell that a IHRA Mountain Motor should be losing to a P51 headed small BB
Not always about the Highest HP.
The guy in the Chevelle seemed to be a good loser. At least he was respectful and not a smartass.

Doc and Monza are gonna be here in March. Too bad they won't get to race any "local" grudge racers here. It would be like the whoopin hErO put on sugar daddy Dave... Not good for tv.

No doubt about the 700" but one would think that it would. And I absolutely agree on driver difference

Not worried, and do not want any info about the build as it is too accessible, the current one will more than hang together for the duration, just get the new bullet loaded and mop the floor as it is dirty

Re: Street Outlaws
Huh. I didn't realize this show was supposed to be real.
I've watched it, but kinda figured it was like WWF, entertaining, good for a few laughs, but about as real as Pamela Anderson's left tit.
That changes my point of view entirely. Before, I just figured they were bad actors with decent cars. Now I just think they are retards and should just go to the track. I mean, they trailer their "street cars" to an isolated street at 3am? hehe, really?
Funny that they are shy about competing with others, seems like when they state things like "We have the fastest street cars in Oklahoma, probably the world." You are just inviting competition.
If I had the fastest street car in the world, I'd be going to "Drag Week" and proving that fact.
Thanks yall, you just ruined a show for me Guess I'll have to watch a real show like "Fast and Loud" hahahaha

Re: Street Outlaws
Yeah, that farm truck fella is coming to our local track.
I'll be back working offshore tho, so guess I'll miss it.
I kinda liked that one show, don't remember the name, but the drag racer would describe the vehicle and three people would guess the time. That was cool. I especially liked Robert Pond showing up with his fairlane. Was pretty cool and kept me interested. Of course, I'm only within tv reception 3-4 months a year, so I guess it probably doesn't matter what I think about tv shows.

They have a lot of kick azz cars on the show, but I wish my local racetrack, or my local streets were lit up that well Street cred, well to quote gmsmkr ``A tag and ins and its a street car`` Closed streets, lit up like the local football stadium ... they should have a behind the scenes show for the kids that think this is a good idea

X2, it's just too bad that show is primarily about drama and BS and not just about racing. Also, there are way too many Chevy powered cars! Maybe they should just call it Bowtie Outlaws!bbf-falcon wrote:I kinda like the show even tho there's a lot of BS. Hell of a lot better than watchin all that csi shit imo.
