Whats good and what is JUNK. Is a dual volt 12v-16v have any benifits? Do I use the matching charger from the same company? Help. Thanks

Re: 16 volt battery
Rock is the bomb...............they sell a charger as well, I use one of the old Moroso chargers..............supposedly they are the "cleanest" charging.
No real need for the dual voltage.

Re: 16 volt battery
I run (and sale) Powermaster. I have their 16 volt battery and their intellicharger which is good for 12 volt and 16 volt systems. Once you go 16 volts you will wonder why you ever had a 12 volt system.

Not to hijack, but why a 16 volt battery? Easier cranking of high compression engines?

It doe's help in the cranking department. For me i like it because i don't run an alternator. if you have to make a couple passes back to back you don't have to worry about it. It just makes life a little easy in the pits. I have no complaints with the powermaster setup. Bobby Z

starts quicker
fans/water/fuel pump spin faster --- steady fuel pressure thru the run coller temps
nos noids react quicker and are const. thru the run
the msd's run an un-reg pwr supply ....more const volt thru the run ..more fire
can make several passes before charging
im sure there is more
