Engine Height - FE Powered Ride
If anyone has an FE powered car or truck in their shop, I would like to get a measurement at the front of the engine.
I am making prototypes of front and mid plates for 390-428 FE engines. I just digitized a block yesterday and the drawing has started. All I need is the relationship of the crank center to the top of the frame rail, so I can determine a height of the plate.
Info from cars and trucks will be welcome.
You can post it here, call or text it to 678-458-2033 or email it to KFMotorsports@aol.com
I plan on keeping my standard 35.5" width for plenty of material for universal fitting.
Any input will be great.
Thank you,
Keith Fulp
