Hat injector manifold mounting plate

Hi everyone.
Finally got the carb flanges cut off my Weiand tunnel ram.
Whats the lightest aluminum I should go with to make the adapter plate. Bear in mind there is only 4 3/8s bolts that hold the hat. The 13 1/4inch is a long spread IMO. This baby is gonna pull down pretty good.
I have some .125 and 3/8ths. Whatcha think?
